[Tutorial Video] Client Dashboards
Client Dashboard
The Client Dashboard provides an intuitive, easy-to-navigate view of your business client's outputs. It empowers advisors with high-level insights and actionable recommendations to drive proactive and meaningful client interactions. From valuation details and key metrics to growth opportunities and goal tracking, the dashboard is designed to support financial growth and ensure long-term success for your clients.
This article provides a step-by-step walkthrough of each feature tab, explaining their value and the outputs you can expect to see.
1. From your business clients list, click on the business name.
Your client homepage is the business overview tab, which provides high-level visibility into your client’s analysis. This one-page view highlights important information and actionable insights in an easy-to-consume format.
2. On the Valuation tab, you'll see the valuation estimate performed by the platform, along with the valuation method used and the financial periods that were included in the analysis.
Below the valuation range is a link to View Supporting Documentation. This expanded view provides detailed information about some of the main calculations and assumptions used in the analysis.
The Valuation Summary is broken down into 3 sections: Balance Sheet Analysis, Cash Flow Analysis, and Summary.
To view the data and explanations, click on the heading to expand that section.
Directly below the valuation range, you'll see a detailed breakdown of the valuation. The platform divides the valuation into three core components: Tangible Assets Value, Goodwill Value, and Non-Operating Assets Value.
3. The Accuracy Check questionnaire gathers additional data to normalize a valuation by adjusting for items like shareholder compensation, the fair market value of company-owned assets, and non-recurring expenses or revenue, ensuring a more accurate business analysis.
Once completed, the platform will automatically calculate a new valuation range, using the original analysis as a baseline, and applying any normalizations that were indicated in your questionnaire. The valuation range may change significantly depending on the answers provided.
4. The Saleability Score Questionnaire is designed to measure some of the qualitative factors within a business.
Once completed, you will receive a score for the business reflected as a percentage, and a business health report card using a red/yellow/green scoring system to give the business owner feedback on areas that are positively impacting the business, and areas of potential risk.
5. The Key Metrics tab allows advisors to easily analyze both historical and current metric performance.
Here, you can explore detailed insights into each ratio, including what each ratio measures, how it's calculated, and the industry benchmark and where the business falls within that range.
Click Show More to see the breakdown of each calculation.
6. The opportunities tab surfaces actionable insights that are identified when an analysis is completed.
Click into an opportunity to view recommended actions that can help facilitate business growth.
7. The timeline tab allows advisors and their clients to track historical valuations, set a goal for the future, and track their progress over time.
8. Within the profile tab you can invite the business owner to the platform using the Invite Owner button. Enter their email address, and click Send Invite.
The owner will receive an email with instructions to create their credentials to access their dashboard.
To share the dashboard details with someone on your team. Click the Share Access button in the Internal Access section.
Select the person's name and click the Add button. When that user logs in, the business will appear in their business clients tab, and they will have full visibility into the dashboard outputs.
Under Data Management, you can view the files recently uploaded by your client. In this section you can also request new data from a client or an external resource by clicking the Send New Request button.
