Is the interVal analysis the same as a valuation from a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV)?

Our analysis is different from what would be produced by a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV).

The interVal platform is designed to give business owners and their advisors insights into overall business health - and the valuation analysis is just one piece of the puzzle. By capturing a variety of data points (historical financial data, Accuracy Check questionnaire, etc.) we are producing a valuation range estimate that is based off of CBV principles - but cannot be used in any legal capacity.

We have accountants on staff at interVal, including a CBV, and our algorithm has been vetted by industry professionals. However, the work that a CBV does - especially in the case of litigation - is specialty, and requires a significant amount of time and expertise to produce a report.

For the purposes of business planning and tracking business health, interVal is a great solution to staying informed and having the insights available to work with your advisors to support your business journey.
