Creating Your Account
To create an account on the interVal platform, your advisor must first send an invitation from their account.
You will receive an email from invitations@inter-val.ai that contains a secure link for you to begin the account creation process.
1. Open the invitation email and click the purple Begin Account Creation button.
2. Enter your email address and create a secure password. Enter your password a second time.
3. Click the Begin account creation button.
4. While keeping the platform window open in your browser, check your inbox for an email containing a 6-digit verification code received from no-reply@inter-val.ai
5. Copy and paste or type the code into the text box and click Verify account.
Your interVal account is now active, and you can now proceed to complete the onboarding process.
Onboarding To the interVal Platform
1. Agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
2. Complete the Business Details page. The industry information that you submit will be used in the valuation calculation, to provide accurate industry benchmarking.
3. Use slider provided to input the gross revenue from your last fiscal year. and click the Confirm button.
4. Your onboarding is now complete! Click the purple Proceed to Dashboard button
Adding Financials - Manual Upload
1. Under Action Items click on the Go to Data Management Button
2. Click the Upload Files button
3. Once the files are ready on your computer, you can either click and drag the files onto the upload screen, or you can click the Upload a CSV or XLS or PDF file button to select your files.
4. Once your files are appearing in a list on the platform, click the purple** Submit Files** button.
With a manual upload, your valuation result will not be immediately available. Our platform will import the data and you will receive an email within two business days notifying you that your analysis is complete.
Adding Financials - Cloud Connection
1. Under Action Items click on the Go to Data Management Button
2. Click on the Connect Now button
3. Choose the cloud accounting program your business uses. The interVal platform can connect to Quickbooks, Xero, or Sage Cloud.
4. The platform will redirect you to your accounting program’s login page, where you will be asked to enter your credentials that you use for that program. This is giving your account permission to communicate with the interVal platform to pull the data necessary for your analysis.
5. Click the Sign In button and follow the instructions given by your accounting provider to establish the connection
In many cases, a cloud connection will result in a real-time preliminary analysis of the value of your business, which you will see on your dashboard. If your result is not immediately available, the platform will display a message indicating that the file is being processed. In that case, you will receive a notification from interVal within two business days once the data has been reviewed.
